In 2018 I designed a business communications iOS app for a small startup based in Los Angeles. I worked in-house on a 6 month contract. I worked with the CEO of the company from start to finish. I had full access to their users who I interviewed to discover what their main problems were with the current iOS app, which was indeed a mess. My goal was to apply updated UI/UX standards as well as follow basic iOS design principles so that the user would immediately feel comfortable with the app and not have to learn new interactions. I had a blast working on this project and I was extremely proud with what the CEO and I created. I am only able to show certain screens that were pre-approved by the CEO due to an NDA I signed.
Website design, identity design, graphic design.
The old website was dated and hadn't been updated since 2008. There were many problems with the information architecture of the site and it resulted in potential customers leaving for competitors.
Create a modern, clean, and simple UI/UX.
I started my design process by drafting a general information architecture using paper sketches. With a consistent and familiar IA in place, I created mid-fidelity wireframes using Sketch.
